The producers, J Clive Jordan and Darrel Thomas, brought snowkiting to the largest and most important worldwide festival dedicated to sports television and movies, FICTS in Milan, Italy. "ABDUCTED BY THE WIND" (2007) received several awards including a "Mention d'Honneur" at the 25th Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs Milano and a Silver Ten Award at SMTV India. The film was also voted one of the most innovative films at the Cold Smoke Awards in Bozeman, Montana.
