The 2008 show will feature Culinary Demonstrations from Celebrity Chef LaLa and Continental Airlines Executive Chef Shashi Sanamvenkata. An expanded Education Program with retail and foodservice tracks offers sessions on healthy dining and top trends. On Monday, October 13 at 6:00pm the show will host its first-ever Opening Night Welcome Party. During the course of the evening, Expo Comida Latina will present Marilyn Tausend, author and culinary guide, a lifetime achievement award for her impact on Mexican-American culinary professionals.
